Por segunda vez en el a\u00f1o y de manera consecutiva el Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (IESS)<\/a> recaud\u00f3 una cifra r\u00e9cord al haber percibido $864,4 millones, la cifra m\u00e1s alta registrada en la instituci\u00f3n hasta el momento. Eso supera con $93,6 millones adicionales (12,2 % de aumento) a lo recaudado en abril del 2022, y con $39 millones la recaudaci\u00f3n de marzo que se ubic\u00f3 en $825 millones, inform\u00f3 la instituci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>

La cifra tambi\u00e9n fue resaltada por el presidente del directorio del IESS, Alfredo Ortega, quien en su cuenta de Twitter poste\u00f3: \u201cAbril de 2023 se convierte en el mes de la recaudaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s alta del IESS con $864,4 millones\u201d y agreg\u00f3 que durante el primer cuatrimestre del a\u00f1o, es decir de enero a abril, ingresaron $ 3.227 millones a las arcas de la instituci\u00f3n, esto es $ 191 millones m\u00e1s (6,3 %) que en el mismo periodo del 2022.<\/span><\/p>

El incremento en la recaudaci\u00f3n de abril frente al mismo mes del a\u00f1o pasado se debe al ingreso de aportes con un aumento de $ 57,9 millones y $ 31,3 millones en pr\u00e9stamos quirografarios, entre otros Por su parte, Diego Salgado, director general del IESS, tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 el incremento del 6,3 % en las recaudaciones de este primer cuatrimestre, sobre las que explic\u00f3 dos factores que incidieron en esta alza. Primero que los empresarios y productores est\u00e1n contratando y formalizando a m\u00e1s trabajadores, y que la gente est\u00e1 confiando en la administraci\u00f3n del IESS. El otro punto que destac\u00f3 son los resultados del sistema de salud.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201cHay cifras hist\u00f3ricas, por ejemplo, los grandes hospitales de tercer nivel ya est\u00e1n llegando al 90 % de abastecimiento de medicamentos y atienden a m\u00e1s del 50 % de usuarios\u201d. En tanto, el reporte del IESS indica que la recaudaci\u00f3n en abril se increment\u00f3 en el sector p\u00fablico en 33 % y en el privado, 5 %, lo que equivale a $78,5 millones y $22,1 millones adicionales en relaci\u00f3n con el mismo periodo 2022. La instituci\u00f3n agreg\u00f3 que entre enero y abril pasados la recaudaci\u00f3n acumulada por sector, en relaci\u00f3n con el mismo periodo de 2022, registra un incremento de $191,2 millones, en el sector privado y p\u00fablico con el 6 % y 9 %, lo que equivale a $113,8 millones y $88,8 millones adicionales.<\/span><\/p>
