Los cantones Quito y Samborond\u00f3n fueron los que m\u00e1s contribuyeron con el 76% de la recaudaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Los contribuyentes con su domicilio fiscal en la capital pagaron USD 11,7 millones, mientras que los de Samborond\u00f3n entregaron USD 10,2 millones. Quito, en Pichincha, tiene m\u00e1s de 2 millones de habitantes, mientras que Samborond\u00f3n, en Guayas, llega apenas a 100 000 habitantes, es decir, representa el 5% de la poblaci\u00f3n quite\u00f1a.<\/p><p>A pesar de la diferencia poblacional, Samborond\u00f3n se convirti\u00f3 en el cant\u00f3n que m\u00e1s activos en el exterior ha transparentado en los primeros ocho meses de este 2022. La ubicaci\u00f3n de esos activos, entre propiedades, dinero y otras inversiones, es reservada, seg\u00fan lo dispone la <a href=\"https:\/\/acl.com.ec\/en\/ley-reformatoria-para-la-equidad-tributaria-del-ecuador\/\">Ley tributaria<\/a>.<\/p><p>A Yael Fierro Guill\u00e9n, experta en temas tributarios, no le parece extra\u00f1o que Samborond\u00f3n tenga el mayor monto de recaudaci\u00f3n por regularizaci\u00f3n de activos en el extranjero. \u201cEn Guayaquil (Guayas) est\u00e1n la gran mayor\u00eda de empresas del pa\u00eds y en Samborond\u00f3n est\u00e1 domiciliada una gran mayor\u00eda de los gerentes de estas empresas\u201d. Ellos est\u00e1n aprovechando este r\u00e9gimen impositivo para regularizar sus activos en el extranjero.<\/p><p><strong>Antecedentes de este tributo<\/strong><\/p><p>La Ley para el Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Sostenibilidad Fiscal, vigente desde noviembre de 2021, dispuso que las personas que tengan activos (bienes, cuentas bancarias, acciones, inversiones y m\u00e1s) en otros pa\u00edses, declaren voluntariamente y paguen los respectivos impuestos.<\/p><p>La norma establece una tasa reducida para quienes transparenten su informaci\u00f3n en este 2022. El impuesto empez\u00f3 con el 3,5%, en marzo, y terminar\u00e1 con el 5,5%, en diciembre. Adem\u00e1s, no pagan intereses, multas ni recargos por haberlos ocultado, seg\u00fan esa normativa tributaria.<\/p><p><strong>Fuente: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sri.gob.ec\/web\/intersri\/home\"
